I moved into a new house and the yard was horrible and in need of much love. Contacted Heartland for an estimate and they came out the next day. Rick Ahrendsen was great and didn’t try to oversell me and take advantage. He came up with a plan and educated me on the best course of action. My yard is already improving and excited to see the full results.

They are courteous of my request of a phone call a day before service due to my severe allergies. That alone is helpful and my lawn is coming along nicely. I would give 5 stars when my lawn reaches my ideal lawn expectation. Rome wasn't built in a day nor is a lawn brought back to health. We are well on our way to a completely consistent lawn appearance which is important to me. Every home looks better when it has a nice lawn framing it.

The house we bought years ago was a rental. And the yard reflected that status in the worst way. There was more dirt than grass; it was pitiful. At this stage in the game the only option was to re-sod the whole thing. So that's what we did. A few years pass and life got busy...jobs, spouses, kids, in-laws. So the yard started to look like it did when the house was a rental. We were contemplating re-sodding once again when my wife decided she would try something first and doused the front yard with 5 x's the amount of pre-emergence than was necessary (rookie mistake).
